MECHANICAL DEFOILING

The defoiling or refoiling of sheets is a labor intensive process. We have developed a machine with which we are able to defoliate sheet metal. We are currently defoliating 2080 tons of sheets per year. Reasons for clients to do this:

  • Large sheet suppliers have automated grinding machine lines. Sheets with problems or damages cannot be separated during this process.
  • Within these automated grinding lines the machines only give one standard finish which is not always the requirement of their clients.
  • The company that processes the sheets cannot work with the standard foil.

EVERY REQUEST IS DIFFERENT

Every customer has its own reasons and requirements why they choose for our defoiling services. After the defoiling of the sheets they are either grinded up to the desired roughness or grit size (up to a high gloss) or refoiled immediatly.
